Newport, Rhode Island and Newport Beach, California share more than a few things in common: a nautical heritage, beautiful coastal venues, and of course, the brand confusion that often comes with sharing the name "Newport". Thus, the Newport to Newport event was born: a lifestyle/fashion event hosted at New York's Nordstrom Trunk Club. The event was kicked off with an exclusive digital invitation.

Both destinations invited their top-tier clients to attend a short presentation on the benefits of meeting in both destinations. Each planner received a voucher to shop at the event or make an appointment with a stylist to find their perfect Newport look.

Bring the brand to the planner
Nordstrom's New York Clubhouse was transformed into a fully branded, coastal-chic experience. From signal flag-inspired name tags to mirror clings with cheeky reminders to engage with the destination teams, attendees were immersed in the Newport aesthetic.
WEARING YOUR BRAND ON YOUR SLEEVE
Both destination teams were given styling suggestions and custom-made accessories to unify their look and bring the Newport Chic brand standards to life. These accessories, along with the "N to N" campaign color palette and elements, provided a strong brand foundation for future corporate events, initiatives, and the group sales website.
